A phased project delivering solar thermal, PV-T hybrid and solar PV across the halls of residence and wider campus. The estates division required replacement of the entire heating and hot water system for all accommodation blocks with a high-efficiency centralised solution. Convert Energy designed a mixed PV-T, solar thermal and PV system to maximise energy offset based on demand and available roof space, delivered within summer closure months in close collaboration with the PC, PD, client, security and campus staff.
